Thanks so much for the abstracts we have received following our call for papers. There was an excellent response and this is now closed.
The conference will start on Friday, 8 April @ 9 am. and finish @ 6 pm. on Sunday, 10 April. We will be running several parallel sessions. We will be sending a more detailed programme to you in the coming weeks.
For those of you arriving on Thursday, 7 April, there will be a programme of workshops starting @ noon with a workshop by Erin Manning, followed by an installation by the Australian artist Lisa Harms @ 2 pm. and a workshop by Barbara Glowczewski starting at 4 pm. There will also be an official opening of Mieke Bal‘s installation “Precarity” in the Arts Technology Research Lab (ATRL) @ 6 pm. Professor Bal will be giving a keynote speech during the conference that reflects on this installation. The installation will be on view throughout the conference.
We are very pleased to announce that we have arranged conference dinner for 6.30 pm. on Saturday, 9 April at the HQ restaurant located in the picturesque Grand Canal basin just a short walk from the Arts Technology Research Lab. The price is EUR 37. Reservations can be now be made via Eventbrite until 1 April. The restaurant also caters for vegetarians.
